After two months it’s time for a quick update. As you may have noticed the posts for the Koichoco project have been further and further apart. I can no longer bring up the motivation to do much more work on the script. It’s not all that perfect yet and there are still in things that need polishing. But with the first thing in mind, it’s time to wrap this up soon.

The plan for this month is to get the latest state of the translation ingame, wrap it in a nice and easy one-click installer, and bring you the patch. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be released this month (if we find any major issues for example), but it does mean that there will be no more major changes.

Thank you all for your patience and apologies for the lack of updates.

P.S.: There have been reports that the MEGA links for the partial parts stopped working. I’ve updated the partial patch post with new fresh links.

    Well, I like it that you release the current state of TL as patch. If you have any numbers, how much work is there left to consider it “finished”?

    Another question: would you still be willing to help someone who has unwisely bought The Best version of the game make the patch stick, even though it’s only supposed to work on the regular one?

      I am, we’ll first have to see if the patch already works with it though. And if it doesn’t work we can go from there and see what we can do.

    Just got a new computer any idea how to run the game on Windows 10? There would always be an error message on startup and the game crashes.

        Thanks, that turned out to make the japanese version run properly even though i already used an app to change the locale for the game. I was aiming to run the chinese patch, and it did work after changing locale to japanese and then using another app to change the game locale to chinese for the patch to run properly.

      Jeg er enige i at vi kan gjøre ting sammen og legge tilrette for det, men til slutt er det opp til konsumenten. Vil man spise usunt så klarer man det uansett. Som oftest er ikke økonomi et hinder når det kommer til urges.
